Open Source
branding + logo design
Open Source is a shared workspace created for web and software developers. Located in Downtown Austin, TX, the space exists as a collaborative platform for open-ended thinking and shared resources.
The design focuses on a clean, neutral presence that conveys an image of growth and community. The project is currently under development and will be updated periodically.

Research
Early concepts of the logo based on interior details and conversations with the owners – the final look was clean and technical.
Typography
The type family Noyh was chosen for the logos/marks and all communication materials; while on-trend with most geometric sans, it has quirky features that set it apart without being too noisy
Icons
Icons were created using familiar visual references for use in digital and print layouts
secondary mark
The primary logo was broken into a smaller, less-complex version for use as web/mobile footer or signoff device
